Bill and Pat have left the building!

Yes, we exited Vegas this morning after a slight altercation with the GPS, which struggled to find and hold a satellite signal, threatening to leave us orbiting the Strip forever. Anyway, we got lucky and were soon driving north-east towards the Canyonlands.

We crossed into Arizona and then into Utah, stopping off at Walmart to stock-up on essentials and get haircuts! We were back in cowboy and Mormon country and it was ironic that the hairdresser was of the latter faith and from a Native American family.

We drove for around four hours through 'big-sky' country, eventually arriving at Ruby's Inn, Bryce Canyon. Before reaching our motel, we drove through the stunning 'Red Canyon' which is just like it says on the can!

Ruby's has been extended since we last stayed and we were given one of the newer rooms overlooking the lake......'laundry' was postponed, pending discovery of a less congested laundrette!

As for today's music, I've posted a track that I really thought would have appeared much sooner!
