Helena

An early start from the BW Clock tower in Billings, heading west towards Helena, the state capitol. An easy drive over several hours .... underlining the size of this State. It has a population of just 1M people and its acreage could accommodate the entirety of Japan and then some! We saw lots of cattle, horses, huge trains, and big horizons incorporating snow-capped mountains!

Arriving in Helena, we found our base fir the night, the Home2 Suites. A brand new development that didn't exist when we were last here. But what a find!

The suites are modern and imaginative and furnished with just about everything you could want .... you could live in the rooms! Anyway, once settled in, we headed out to the local movie theatre and then an early dinner at the nearby sports bar 'Winged Buffalo". Very nice!!

And today's musical choice?Bill Black's Combo and "My Girl Josephine"!
