A change of scenery!

Unfortunately, we had to pack-up first thing, to change rooms from Floor 3 to Floor 1. Why? I don't know!
Anyway, having left the suitcases in the hallway, like Elvis, we left the building and walked out into a beautiful day and headed for the 'Two Cats', for breakfast. This establishment is very on-trend with its rustic eating arrangements and lovely garden. We sat outside and soaked in the atmosphere.
Afterwards, we hit the local supermarket to pick-up a sandwich and headed-out to Acadia National Park. On arrival, the wonderful Park Ranger told us that our annual pass was still valid .... result! And so began our journey round the twenty-seven mile loop, a constantly changing vista of ocean, lakes, and woodland. We made several stops to explore the sights on offer and to chat with other tourists.
Having completed most of the loop, we spotted a sign for Northeast Harbour, which took us out of the park, heading us towards the town of Mount Desert, a very pleasant little town, founded in the 18th century. This is a very neat, quiet, town which has a sizeable marina.
In the evening we walked down to the ocean front and a lobster dinner on the deck of an idyllic seafront restaurant, then walked down the coastal path and back to the Village Green. Bar Harbour is a very nice place to visit!

As we drove lazily around Acadia today we heard the tune 'Raunchy', which apparently got George Harrison accepted into the Beetles. Here's Billy Vaughn's version.
