Re-experienced......

Early morning rain wouldn't dampen our day! We set-off downtown and I booked my second US haircut of the trip.....then we rode the mono-rail to the Space Needle (reminiscent of the 1963 World Fair!) and ambled around this very pleasant area. Needing little persuasion, we paid a return visit to "The Music Experience" a great hands-on, lively, museum of contemporary music.
We met Alan there, a really nice guy (for a Liverpool fan!)who works as a volunteer and is a walking musical encyclopaedia.
We took his tour of the Nirvana exhibit and he did a great job of putting the exhibits in context. Chatting with him later, he told us that he had once met Eric Clapton there, who was standing behind a group of visitors looking at the Clapton exhibit! There is also much to see and appreciate there relating to the late and great 'Jimi Hendrix' who also hailed from this region.
Next, we rode downtown, saw the film 'Thor' (in 3D!), and then thankfully emerged to a drier city!
We walked to the very vibrant Public Market on the waterfront and having worked-up an appetite visited the 'Pike Brewery Pub' for a fish'n chip dinner (and a chat with a really nice family who have relocated here from the UK).
As for a musical sign-off.....it has to be the great man himself!!!
