Getting better all the time......
A much better day weather-wise ensured that we got out-and-about. First, I called for my second US haircut (OK, but I trust Malcolm and Co won't bring their pricing structure into alignment with their American counterparts!) Then we headed for Pike Place Market and watched the fish being thrown for eager tourists to catch ....really! (This featured in a famous training film about teamwork, called "Fish"!) Having then walked through the incredible flower market we emerged to see the very first Starbucks outlet....established in 1971 and still brewing strong (well actually only if you ask for an extra shot!) Having previously had a heads-up about sailing to Bainbridge on the ferry, to avoid the excessive prices of the tourist cruise boats, we asked about sailing times and were very kindly offered a two-for-one voucher for the nearby "I love New York Deli". (I hope I'm not giving the impression that we're becoming free-loaders!) Anyway, to the Deli we went and met the fabulous crew there, who helped us to navigate the menu and order two of the best and certainly biggest sandwiches ever....they would challenge "Desperate Dan"! We caught the early afternoon ferry and spent a very pleasant afternoon walking the Waterfront Trail, at Bainbridge....much needed exercise to burn-off the sandwich! Before signing-off, I must thank Dave for his comment and football-related photo, and select another piece of music. Being our final day in Seattle......for me it has to be another track by Jimi!

Interesting to see the original twin-tailed siren, with boobs.
