A Shock in Store..........

Well, I think you all had the better of the weather today.......it rained here! But we made the most of it! We dropped-in Macey's department store and were knocked-out by its magnificence....built in the 1920's it boasts a nine-story atrium and a 28-thousand-pipe organ weighing around three-hundred tons! Needless to say, they hold an organ recital each day!

Being 'Cherry Blossom Time' the annual in-store flower show was in full swing with regular free guided tours! (Of course the store also boasts a giant eagle!!)

Afterwards, we sought refuge in a local cinema where we saw "The Killing of the Irishman", which I really recommend.......its based on a true about the Mafia in Cleveland during the 1970's! Fingers crossed for 'The Reds' tomorrow and thanks to everyone who has read and commented on the blog, so far......I really appreciate them! Incidentally we're bound for New York tomorrow....watch this space, I have two music tracks in mind!
